I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…World of Hyatt is my top choice for award stays! You’ll get amazing value from their points and they have a wide range of hotels and resorts, meaning there is something for everyone. 🏨 And there are so many ways to earn Hyatt points!

Credit cards and credit card welcome offers are by far the easiest and quickest way to accrue lots of Hyatt points or points that can be transferred to Hyatt, but make sure to keep reading to find out how to keep earning those Hyatt points in between opening new cards! 👀

Cobranded cards that earn Hyatt points:

World of Hyatt has one personal and one cobranded business card with Chase bank. You can hold both of these cards.

💳World of Hyatt Credit Card

💳World of Hyatt Business Credit Card

Cards that earn points that can be transferred directly to Hyatt:

Hyatt is also a transfer partner of Chase bank as well. This means that Chase Ultimate Rewards® can be transferred to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio to be used for booking hotels directly through Hyatt.

💳Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card

💳Chase Sapphire Reserve® (you can only hold either the Preferred or the Reserve)

💳Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card

💳Chase Freedom® Unlimited

💳Chase Freedom Flex®

BILT + Rakuten Partnership

The new BILT partnership with Rakuten means that there is a brand new avenue for earning these super valuable points! Hyatt is a transfer partner with BILT, and now that Rakuten members can choose to earn BILT points for their shopping, that means extra Hyatt points if you take advantage of these FREE programs!

New stays

Every time you complete a paid stay at a Hyatt hotel or resort, you will earn points for that stay! Oftentimes if I am booking a cheaper Hyatt Place or similar, I might opt to pay cash and keep my points for a bigger redemption.

Keep in mind that you must book the hotel directly through Hyatt and not through a third party site if you want to earn rewards or credit toward status for the year.

FIND Experiences

-FIND experiences that you can book through Hyatt can also earn 10 points per dollar spent. From food experiences, to spa treatments, and even underwater excursions, there are so many ways you can take advantage of these bookings to earn extra Hyatt points!

Bottom Line

Hyatt will always be my top choice for hotel stays on points, and even with credit card restrictions and eligibility rules frequently changing, there are plenty of ways to keep building up that Hyatt stash.

And don’t forget that you can keep earning points and miles on any of those cards about with your regular spending, even after you’ve earned the welcome bonus! No matter how you earn your Hyatt points, there are so many ways to use them on amazing hotels and resorts! ✨👏🏻
