The Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ is a newer card from Chase bank and another points earning opportunity in the Sapphire card family. This comes with its own list of perks and credits, and we’re always happy for another way to earn our favorite flexible points!

This card does come with a hefty annual fee of $795, so you need to be sure that you’re getting value out of the card and using the benefits it offers to help offset that cost! Let’s jump into all the card the specifics! 👇🏼

*All information about the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠has been collected independently by Packed with Points. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Benefits You Want in Your Wallet

1. Generous Welcome Offer

🔥ELEVATED welcome offer! Earn 200,000 points after spending $30,000 on purchases in the first 6 months of card opening. Which I know sounds like a lot, but broken down over 6 months works out to $5,000 per month of spending, which is much more doable!

🤯 And 200,000 points is an amazing chunk of points toward your travels!

2. Huge points earning potential

With the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, you’ll earn:

💻 8× points on Chase Travel (hotels, cars, flights)

🚙 5x points on Lyft rides through 9/30/27

🏨 4× points on hotels and flights booked directly with the airline

📲 3x points on social media & search engine advertising

✈️ 1× points on everything else

3. Ultimate Rewards® and how you can use them

The points you earn from this card are part of the Chase Ultimate Rewards® program. You can redeem your points for travel, gift cards, cash back, and you can even transfer them to various airlines and hotels for maximum value (my favorite option!). The options are endless!

4. A plethora of credits

Like with many of these premium credit cards with a big annual fee, you’ll find a wide variety of credits that you can (and should!) take advantage of to offset the cost of the fee you’re paying. You’ll find credits like:

🛫 $300 annual travel credit

🏨 $500 annual “The Edit” hotel credit ($250 per qualifying 2-night stays)

🆕 One time credit of up to $250 for select Chase Travel hotels (requires a booking of 2+ nights, for 2026 only)

🧳 Up to$120 credit for TSA PreCheck®, Global Entry, or NEXUS

🖥️ Up to $400 annual ZipRecruiter credit ($200 semi-annual credits)

🧑‍💻 $200 annual Google Workspace credit

💰 $100 Giftcards.com credit ($50 semiannual credits)

🍔 $300 annually in monthly DoorDash promos ($5 restaurant credit and 2 $10 non-restaurant credits)

🥗 $120 annual DashPass Membership

🚙 $120 in annual Lyft in-app credits, up to $10 monthly

5. Lounge access

This card also offers lounge access perks, which is a huge consideration for me when deterring what premium cards I want to keep long term!

You’ll get complimentary Priority Pass Select membership, with entry to 1,300+ lounges worldwide for the primary cardholder and each authorized user ($195 per authorized user). You also receive up to two free guests per visit, with any additional guests costing $27 each. Cardholders can also access Chase Sapphire Lounges by The Club (in locations like BOS, LGA, JFK, PHX, SAN, HKG, and soon LAS & PHL) with the same guest privileges!

I was particularly excited to see the new Chase Sapphire Lounge lounge open in Phoenix, so this plays a role in my decision on which premium card makes the most sense for me since I highly value lounge access during my travels!

Eligibility

👉🏻When considering the eligibility for the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, you are eligible to earn the welcome offer if you haven’t earned the welcome offer on this card in the past.

*As always, make sure to closely read eligibility requirements before completing any card application!

How to use these points

You will hear me say again and again, transferring your flexible points to transfer partners is the best way to get maximum value for those points and book some pretty epic travels in the process! 👏🏻 Chase partners with 14 different airline and hotel partners that you can transfer your points to:

  • Aer Lingus

  • Air Canada

  • Air France/KLM/Flying Blue

  • British Airways

  • Iberia

  • JetBlue

  • Singapore

  • Southwest

  • United

  • Virgin Atlantic

  • Hyatt

  • IHG

  • Marriott

My top 3 from this list are easily 1) Hyatt 2) Southwest and 3) United. But why you might ask? Because this is the only bank that transfers to those programs and they are a few sweet spots in the points and miles world (especially Hyatt which is where most of my Chase Ultimate Rewards go).

If you’re looking for a simpler booking process, you can also use these points to book flights, hotels, rental cars, etc. in the Chase Travel℠ portal.

A few other tid-bits you should know…

-This card will NOT count toward 5/24.

-This card comes with a $795 annual fee, and keep in mind, that annual fee does not count toward your minimum spending requirement.

-The best way to track your card opening date, annual fee due date, and minimum spending, is with the best free app for free travel: Travel Freely! 📲

Final Thoughts

The Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ can feel much like a “coupon-book” of perks, but those perks could potentially make up for that $795 fee if you actively use them‼️👌🏼 This card could be a lot of work to maintain and use the benefits for, but frequent travelers with access to Chase Sapphire Lounges might be able to easily rationalize the cost of that annual fee!
