Does it get any better than experiencing total luxury for the bargain price of ZERO dollars? I don’t think it does. 😍 Which is why I continue to book all-inclusive resorts with my credit card points so I can enjoy a little slice of paradise without a care in the world (at least about my budget 😉).
Let’s break down a step-by-step process of how you can easily book an all-inclusive resort through Hyatt using your credit card points. And make sure to read to the end for some of my top resort recommendations! ☀️🏖️
How to book
First things first: we always check availability before we transfer any points! So you’ll pull up the Hyatt website or app and begin your search with your desired dates and resort destination. Keep in mind that the points rate for the room covers 2 people and their all-inclusive package. If booking for more than 2 people in the room, you will see the rate increase to cover that additional person.
Make sure to click on the “Use Points” button and hit Find Hotels.
Then check to confirm that your room type is available and check for the points rate per night. Again, this search is for two people so this is the rate for two people per night. 👇🏼
Now, before we transfer our points, we need to do a little math. Once you confirm the rate for each night, add up the total points cost. Then if you have any Hyatt points already in your account, make sure to plan for those points as well.
Then you will head to your Chase account and navigate to your Ultimate Rewards®. You’ll be transferring these points to partners. If you don’t already have your World of Hyatt account linked to your Ultimate Rewards® then you will do that first. Once you have inputted the exact amount of points you need (and remember, this can’t be undone‼️), then confirm your transfer.
Points should be in your World of Hyatt account in just a couple of minutes! ⏰
The final step now that the points are in your account is to go back and book your stay directly through Hyatt! You will confirm your dates and pay with your points. And you’ll pay $0 in resort fees if paying fully with points, it never gets old. 🤩
We booked this resort for April of 2026 and we used 140,000 Hyatt points and saved over $3,300. 👏🏻 We would never been booking this resort if it weren’t for points and miles.
All-inclusive resorts we have booked with points
Over the years we have booked a variety of all-inclusive resorts through Hyatt and it is truly my favorite way to vacation (and by vacation, I mean relax by a pool and not worry about anything ⛱️😎).
All-inclusive resorts I have stayed at on points:
Secrets Impression Moxché (adults only and the peak of luxury for couples)
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos (perfect for families)
Miraval Tucson (ideal for a solo or girls trip)
Alila Ventana Big Sur (staying here in August 2025!)
Secrets Playa Blanca (staying here in April 2026!)
Others we have been wanting to visit:
Hyatt Ziva Cancun
Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres
Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa
Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica
Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana
Earning points for a trip like this
For a trip like this you’ll need to work on earning a stash of super valuable Hyatt points. These points are the key 🔑 to so many luxury vacations we have booked over the years, and flexible point cards from Chase bank are going to be your ultimate strategy. 💳
My top choice for racking up lots of points are the Chase Ink Business Credit Cards! They won’t count against your 5/24 and there are even options with no annual fee. 👏🏻
