A transfer bonus is like getting rewarded for transferring your points!

Transfer bonuses are when a bank offers an incentive to transfer your points to a particular hotel or airline loyalty program. For instance, a bank might offer a 25% bonus when transferring to a hotel program, so when you transfer 1,000 points ➡️ you would end up with 1,250. It’s a great way to get even more value from your points! 👏🏻

Let’s jump into the current bonuses:

American Express Transfer Bonuses

Flying Blue (Air France/KLM): 20% bonus (ends October 31st)

Marriott: 30% bonus (ends November 30th)

Chase Transfer Bonuses

British Airways/Iberia/Aer Lingus Avios: 30% bonus (ends October 31st)

Southwest: 25% bonus (ends November 6th)

Capital One Transfer Bonuses

None.

Citi Transfer Bonuses

Qantas: 20% bonus (ends November 8th)

Final thoughts

Transfer bonuses are another reason why I love earning flexible points so that I have even more options and opportunities for using my hard earned points!

These bonuses are only for a limited time, but I only recommend transferring your points if you are ready to book. Otherwise, if you transfer just for the bonus points, you might find that your points end up stranded if availability changes or you find a better deal. So transfer with a plan. 🗺️✈️

Side note: I cannot say thank you enough for using my links to apply! I earn a commission for those applications at no cost to you, and it helps keep all the free resources and support coming! 🩷
