Say “hello” to one of the best new partnerships in the skies. A partnership that now gives you another opportunity to earn miles for flights on Alaska Airlines. 👏🏻

Check out a detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to transfer your miles from one HawaiianMiles member to another! ✈️👇🏼

The Process

When logged into your HawaiianMiles account, you’ll navigate to your home page. Scroll down and select “Redeem Miles” from the side bar on the left hand side of the screen.

And there you will find this option to share or donate miles. Choose “Learn more” under the Share Miles option.

Select “Share Now” at the bottom of the screen.

On this next screen you will input the last name and HawaiianMiles number for the person receiving the miles. Then you’ll choose how many miles to move over and you can see your balance there on the screen. You can transfer the exact number of miles in your account as there aren’t any rules that require transfers in 100 or 1,000 point increments, so I moved all my husband’s miles over to me!

Review to make sure everything looks okay, and then hit “Transfer Miles Now” to complete the process!

Success! 🎉 The miles showed up in my account as soon as I logged back into my own Hawaiian account. I also earned these miles with the intention of moving them over to Alaska, so as soon as they hit my account I transferred my Hawaiian miles ➡️ Alaska.

Who can transfer

Transfers can be made from one HawaiianMiles account to another easily from your online account. These transfers are free if you are a Hawaiian Airlines cardholder, so that's a great perk! I got this pop-up message when transferring the points from my husband’s account to mine (we each have the Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Business Mastercard®).

There are other options to share miles for a small fee if you are not a cardholder.

Bottom Line

🌺Hawaiian Airlines makes is so easy to share your miles with friends or family so that you can plan out your next big adventure! Since Hawaiian and Alaska have now partnered together, we’ll soon see these Hawaiian cards be discontinues, but for now this is a great way to stockpile Hawaiian (or Alaska) miles!

Side note: I cannot say thank you enough for using my links to apply! I earn a commission for those applications at no cost to you, and it helps keep all the free resources and support coming! 🩷
